| Pregnant (Expecting) BnB Addict  Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Posts: 4,457 | Help with abbreviations on an ultrasound picture Hi girls I was just wondering if any of you knew, as i cant find it online, i was just wondering the size of my baby from my last ultraound which was at 10+4 There are a heap of abbreviation letters with different things and if you look at the pic you can see up the top section next to a "D" it says 9cm but in the bottom section next to an "SVD" it says 6.5cm and i was just trying to work out which one it is, or actually what both of them mean if anyone knows?? Thanks  |

Its all got to do with the frequency they are using, svd = singular value decomposition. They switch from other to the other. I dont know what the D stands for but I would assume its just one of the different frequencies they use. |
