can there be a baby but no yolk sac?? LOL

OK, this may sound really dumb but at my scan the sonographer kept saying how healthy the baby looked, but failed to mention a yolk sac, and i didnt really see it on the screen or on the scan photo.
I was 8 weeks 2 days and I heard that the placenta doesnt take over til 10weeks...

no there cant be a baby without a yolk sac hun... so you must have one somewhere hehe x

the same happened with my sis and she read her notes and they'd wrote in there i't was only partly there baby feeds off it she was 9 weeks i should imagen it just means the baby is feeding off placenta now was placenta visible at the scan workingi wouldn't worry any way if the was anything not normal the sonographer would of said good luck with your preg

silly I can see your yolk sac... its the translucent circular bubble around the baby

i did think this lol, but in my opinion its far too big. i think that may be a shadow xoxox

Well this is correct by my calcs, which my gyno agreed with at my first scan.... but I had to play around with the dates to get the ticker to say what I wanted!lol I guess it will all be confirmed at my 13wk NT scan in January...

there will be a yolk sac there whether you can see it or not, i seen yolk sac sometimes on early scans other scans it was never mentioned even thoughh was only 9 weeks dont worry

i dont think they wud mention the sac as she saw the baby if there was no baby then she wud say" but i can see the sac" sorta thing x
