Sex in early Pregnancy....

Hi Girls, I am fairly new and hope that i am putting my question in the right place. Was looking for some opinions on this. I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second baby. With my first i bleed and spotted all the way through from 4 weeks - though baby was ok in the end though 12 weeks early for other reasons. When i would :sex with my OH in the first pregnancy it would make my spotting worse and in the end we would refrain from doing anything.
In this pregnancy so far i have not had any bleeding or spotting (touch wood, at this point in my first pregnancy i had had 2 scans already as they said it was a threatened mc). Now, i am terrified of doing anything in case it starts me bleeding! Although there is nothing to suggest it will. Any opinions would be nice.. I wonder if it is best to wait until at least 12 weeks when the pregnancy has settled down! My poor OH!!!

When we found out last week my boyo was a bit worried but by the end of that night, after he had a glass of wine or two to celebrate, he had changed his mind and we were just quite gentle!

Touch wood, I feel great, have had no bleeds or spotting of any sort and we have a very active love life so would not want to stop unless we were advised to which the Dr didn't do. We are just carrying on as normal but as I say, being maybe a tad more gentle than we would normally at this point.

Well, we've had sex since finding out and we haven't had any problems whatsover. We have been more gentle as I am a bit more sensitive but it's been ok. Good luck! xxx

we had sex once after which I had a bit of bleeding. Only in the wipe right after, but it was red/brown and enough to cover the tissue. I spoke to my sister who is a GP and she said it was common and just to lay off sex in the 1st trimester...

each couple is diff, so if it works for you..go for it!!! if you are worried about spotting its better to wait it out..

my husband is scared to touch me right now. If we did it and then something happened he'd think it was his fault. Frankly, I'm so tired that I'm really ok with that decision.
