How close did you guess your EDD before dating scan?

Hiya!

I just had my dating scan yesterday- was so exciting! I just kept thinking omg- theres actually something in there!!! It was all very surreal!

I went in, preparing myself for the possibility of a different due date... but no! I must have a very regular cycle (even tho i got pg on the 1st cycle off the pill, so didnt really have a chance to count!) because we were exactly spot on- to the exact day! My due date hasnt changed even by 1 day- i was exactly 11 weeks preg, just like id worked out!! (Also means it was hubby's birthday that did the trick!!

It was a bit more of an educated guess for me, but my dates were bang on so my due date didn't change

I was really happy about that cause I really didn't want to be put back, mainly cause i didn't want a June baby haha no idea why!

At 8+3, I had an early scan due to some bleeding which out me at 8+4. Then I've just had my dating scan on wednesday when I thought I was 12+3, to be told I was 13+4 and due on 5th June so I'm a bit further on than my LMP dates - 14 weeks today in fact, so I'm gonna take a sneaky look at the 2nd tri forum!!

It was the same for me, I knew when I'd conceived and how far along I was. When I saw the doctor she said that I was 5 days behind what I thought I was. I told her I have a really short 24 day cycle and I know when I conceived, even still she put my due date as 5 days ahead of what I thought.

At my scan I was told I was exactly where I thought I was and got the due date I knew I would have.

I don't think they ever give us the credit to know our own bodies sometimes.

I was spot on, but it was pure guess work after getting pg straight after implanon removed, so could have been further along, in fact midwife thought I was but an early scan showed we were right, well with a bit if help with CB Digi conception test, if it hadn't been for them we wouldn't have had a clue!

i thought i was 7 weeks on wednesday but baby was measuring 7+2. i was charting & i'm sure i didn't ovulate a couple of days before i thought i had (well, i thought i hadn't even ovulated, but i did!). i'll see at my official dating scan in a few weeks though, i'm sure.
from my lmp i'm 8 weeks today.

My date didn't change either. I was charting though and know the exact day I ovulated.

I was spot on, as I only had unprotected sex once during that cycle!!!

My cycles are very regular, but they're normally around 32 days instead of the "normal" 28 days, so I expected my dating scan to come back with a different due date.

I worked out my due date using sites like Baby Gaga, and they estimated it to be 2nd May, IF I had a 28 day cycle. My dating scan came back with the exact same date, so I guess I ovulated a couple of days after the middle of my cycle. I've been given different due dates by the doctor and midwife though, of 3rd and 4th May. It doesn't make much of a difference though.
