I think in all honestly if it were going to get worse then it probably would have by now. Also did you see that poll someone put up the other day? I think they posted it in 3rd tri for ladies to comment whether they'd suffered with spotting in their 1st tri and it turns out it's so so common. Try not to worry like you said the fact that there was a heartbeat is such a good sign xxxxxx

Hi, i think spotting and bleeding is not unusual in early pregnancy. I spotted and bled from about 4 weeks in my first pregnancy, i had numerous scans and each one showed the baby was ok. They never found a reason for the spotting. My son is 3 now. I know it is scary, i never enjoyed my pregnancy and worried so much and had to wear a sanitary pad almost throughout! But it is not usual to have unexplained bleeding and the baby be fine!

Folks? I think it's over. I've started to bleed bright red and have been passing dark red clots. Some of them are lima bean and nickel sized, but for the most part they're smaller. Cramps aren't unbearable but I'm starting to really think the worst. I'm not going back to the ER because I know there's nothing they can do and I have a scan scheduled with my OB on Tuesday morning at 9 am. So far I've been rather upset. I haven't noticed any gray or flesh tone tissue. But I do know I'm bleeding heavier where as before it was only when I wiped and now it's definitely made me need to wear a pad. We're not filling up a pad in an hour or anything like that but this is me expecting/preparing for the worst and praying for the best.

Oh no, sorry to hear the bleeding is worse. I read your thread yesterday. I am sending you lots of positive sticky bean thoughts. If the bleeding gets heavier I'd go to the hospital just because you could lose a lot of blood and probably should get checked out.
