| it is very difficult to find baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks as it is tucked right down in your pelvis and all curled up, my midwife wasnt convinced she'd find mine at 13 weeks, the student midwife couldnt but the proper midwife managed to.
and yay your getting your appetite back thats normal at 12 weeks the placenta takes over and sickness begins to ease so its all normal, everything will be just fine!
How come they are able to tell you the sex so early ? |

Well, my name is Lee-Anne and you can imagine how nobody knows how to spell it the first time. I used to get so upset when I had to correct everyone. Now, if I am calling customers etc. and they ask is your name spelled like this, I just say yes. It gets so tiring correcting people that I don't even know. |

How come they are able to tell you the sex so early ? | Another reason why it is tough to hear the heartbeat at that stage is that often our heartbeats overpower the other sounds. That's what happened with my experience at 12 weeks.
I do have a doppler at home and have only used it a handful of times. But the last few times I think I have located it but it was for a few seconds. I can't be really sure though. I'd rather have it confirmed by the doctor |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The midwife couldn´t find the heartbeat of mine the week before the scan and I spent a week worrying that bean wasn´t gonna make it and dreading what I was gonna see on the scan. But at the scan there bean was jumping about with a great heartbeat, it was such a relief. |

| Ahh hun!,
You have been so reasurring to everyone else on here!!
As everyone said I'm sure it's just too early. In fact you have helped me make up my mind to not try and find a heartbeat! I am such a worrier (as you may have guessed) and I feel I would be just like you if I couldn't!
You lucky thing eating again! Enjoy it!!!!!!!!! |

She's gonna flick across to 3D for me, and she'll be able to the 'bits' more clearly. It is possible to tell the sex at 12 weeks, but alot of sonographers won't check... maybe they don't feel confident enough to say. She may not be able to tell, which will be really frustrating, s I'm dying to organise 'stuff' |
