Yep - this is driving me crazy too, especially at night. I dream of the carefree nasal spray days of old. Hope you (we?) breathe easier soon.

I dont have any tips for you since I suffered with this very bad in my first pregnancy, 9 months solid I had it and it was absolutely dreadful.
I didnt even know it was connected to pregnancy until I told the dr.
I ttried nasal spray etc but nothing really worked. I was also informed that you shouldnt use those sprays for more than a few days because it can inflame your nasal passage causing your nose to bleed, however, I didnt listen to that advice and continued using them for longer than a few days - sure enough, I got nose bleeds!!!!
I tried hot showers, head over steaming bowls of water, hanging my head out the window, getting up in the middle of the night and walking around just to clear my nose for that brief second before then jumping back in bed hoping it'll stay unblocked..
nothing i did worked so i gave up in the end and accepted it I found myself putting tissue up my nose during the night (only one side) which blocked my nose completely and actually helped me sleep alot better. Dunno how blocking it all the more helped me sleep but it did... it stopped all the snot from coming out which in itself wakes you up.

Right now I am also doing nasal irrigation, which allows me to flush the mucus out, and to moist the nose.

I guess I will have to learn to breath through my mouth eventually, as I heard that the congestion will get worse eventually. For some reason, when I fall asleep, I would forget to breath when I do it through my mouth instead of my nose.

Hot water with honey and lemon could help... It's generally good for you anyway!

I've got a really rotten cough and cold myself and was so disappointed when I couldn't reach for my usually dependable friend ibuprofen!!
OH has been lovely making me hot honey and lemon drinks but the lemon has burnt my lips!! They're really dry, crispy and sore now seems there's no easy solutions for illness in pregnancy!
Oh dear! Smother your lips with chapstick/vaseline!! Hope you're feeling better soon! I woke up several times this morning coughing, it sucks. Hopefully it'll pass quickly for both of us!

My DH made some Squash and Sweet Potato soup last night, nice and hot, it seemed to help for a while!!

xx
