hot water bottle?!!?!

I have used my hot water bottle like its my bible, before i fell pregnant i was booked at the doctors as all the symptoms are like gallstones which my mum had. however i didnt really think there was much that they can do now im pregnant!!

Anyway, i get pain quite often, upper abdomen, been using my bottle, my sister has just come round and said that i shouldnt be doing that and i would be boiling my baby and kept saying it, i got a bit upset as i have already been doing it!So now im really worried.

Any advice on this, without trying to scare me too much but also telling me the truth!x

I said to her today, i keep getting these throbbing pains in my lower stomach am i ok to use a water bottle, she said you are aslong as it is in a cover.

At the moment there is so many walls a water etc covering your baby by the time the heat gets to the baby it wont be hot aslong as it isnt majorly burning you (like a kettle haha) it will just feel nice and warm for the baby. Is this your first baby?

xx

I've had bad tummy pains too but actually in my tummy as opposed to lower down near where the baby is. I just try and keep the bottle as high up on my tummy as possible but it has been worrying me slightly. From everything I have read though it is ok, so am happy to read that others on here do the same xx

i just watched an australian program that was about pregnancy myths and it was
about using electric blankets and how you can't use those (bc of the electromagnetic waves, who knew)
and to use a hot water bottle instead
