| What's your tips for nausea? Hi All,
Have any of you come up with any ways to combat your nausea or sickness?
I have had it the last 3 weeks, but the last couple of days it has got extremely bad. I actually wish I could throw up as it would give me a bit of a break. It is all day and night!
I try and eat small, plain food every couple of hours and drink water.
I go back to work tomorrow as a college lecturer in Sports Therapy and injuries. I have been off since last week due to the pain and bleeding.I had another scan yesterday and confirmed everything is going good with an even stronger heartbeat last week.
There is no way I can teach feeling like this.
I'm thinking about cancelling our hol to mexico at easter as I could not enjoy myslef like this- means we would loose the money though.
Any tips would greatfully be recieved!!!
Thanks!
D

| not much seemed to help me im afraid hun! not what you wanted to hear! well apart from trebor strong mints but i'd eat the whole pack and then I would feel sick! try jsut a few.
Its starting to ease off now, feel sick much less often, grin and bear it and it will soon pass, I just had to keep telling myself why i was feeling sick and that at least it was reassurance I was actually pg!xxxxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hey, i really feel for you, you look like you have been doing all the things i could have recommened, eating often small plain things like crackers or plain cookies. drinking water or soda water or ginger ale. some people have said peppermint helps. dont cancel your trip hun, you never know when it will go away. i was like you nausea all day every day and i hardly ever threw up. it really is awful.
wish i could give you better advice, hang in there |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Bless you for having to go through this. I don't have any tips as I've never had morning sickness.
I've heard gingersnaps and gingerale helps, but I think remedies are different for each person.
I truly hope you feel well soon and are able to make your trip to Mexico |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hiya, i can totally sympathize with u, i feel sick constantly all day everyday im really fed up of it now. I have found that sucking ice lollies helps and found that out by accident, i had a craving for those FAB lollies, now i find myself sucking on 1 constantly cos its the only thing that gives me a break from feeling sick. Try it see if it works for u 2, or try those anti sickness wrist bands they might come in handy whilst u travelling to mexico. Nothing is guarenteed to work but it just might be worth a try. |
