Hi...I had the jab, and you can read about my experience here

Swine flu jab - had it today.

My arm was agony for a couple of days afterwards, and the afternoon after I had it I felt a bit rough, but after an hour's sleep I was fine. No other side effects for me.

im not having it....
i have said it many many times before. it is a known fact pregnant women should not be vaccinated.
I was due for my 3rd shot of the hpv jab which is basically a vaccine with nothing in it, it's not live and should therefore have no adverse reactions- i now cant have the 3rd shot because im pregnant.
so if we cant have a vaccine thats not live, im dam sure one that is will not be recommended. Just my opinion... i know alot of pregnant ladies on here have had the swine flu vaccine and are perfectly fine....

I'm conflicted about getting it as well I've read some pretty horrid stuff about it... but getting h1n1 is life threatening for us so i really don't know..I think if I can I want to wait till I'm out of the first trimester before I get it

i have known of several infants and parents to get swineflu and be perfectly well once it's past!
my way of thinking is- do i risk getting the virus on the basis that it has killed people and can be harmful to me and my baby, or do i get the vaccination with absolutely no knowledge whatsoever of what im feeding into my babies blood???
atleast with the first option you know what is what...

I had mine on friday and have been fine apart from a sore arm for a few days. I chose to have it because 5 of my children are under 6 and they are the highest risk category, so i don't want to be a possible source of infection for them. Have aread about and a think and see what you think.

My midwife said your not allowed it before 12 weeks because the baby is still developing in the early stages.
I have decided not to have it, I don't want to risk it hurting my baby its a new vaccine and in my opinion i don't think they have done enough research yet. How do they know what the side affects are to the baby after its been born.
My husband and my 2 kids had swine flu but I didn't get it so it has already been around me, It was only a mild form and my son who was only about 6 months at the time had it.
I have heard of lots of ladies who have had it and its been fine, its just my opinion xxx

I will be receiving the swine flu jab today. I researched both sides of the argument and I feel the risk is too great not to get it.

totally agree with this...
i refuse to subject my little bean to a medical experiment. since thats basically what it is.... nobody knows the outcome.
