So I had my 2nd ultrasound.. but this is the only one we got to see the baby! I was soo nervous before we got there because of all problems we were having. If all stated at 7wks.. I was spotting and it was on and off for a couple of days which is okay because I did that with both my other pregnancies. Then I had more bright red and then blood clots just small ones so I went to the hospital convinced something was not okay. I had an ultrasound done and it turned out that the baby had a lower heartbeat 6wks-98bpm and I had a blood clot between the uterus and placenta which put me a high risk for a miscarriage. I have still been spotting and had a few other blood clots but it is ok because I think that they are passing which is good.

So today finally came for the ultrasound and everything looked good and baby had a strong heartbeat and was a good size. The baby has a nasal bone which is great because we are worried about markers for chromosome abnormalities as we lost our first one to an abnormality when he was 3wks old.

So for everyone that thinks blood=mc its not necessarily true. I have had some spotting in all my pregnancies but this one has been worrying me more. Keep holding because everything can be okay!

I can't wait for my next appt in 3wks! Exciting!
