i have my scan on thur 13th 'march (only a couple of days)

i am only 10 weeks apparently will turn 11 weeks on thur (day of the scan)

am worried it is to early, will i be able to see it?

also if you are not safe until 12 weeks from miscarriage am worried that i could still loose the little bump, and i would have seen it and love it more than i already do?

doe anyone have any advice, or is anyone in the same situation?

I saw my baby at 7 weeks. I'm sure you'll see yours at 11. Plus, I think if you see the heartbeat at 11 weeks then the chance of miscarriage is the same as 12 weeks, 1 or 2 percent.

Enjoy it. They wouldn't do it if it was too early

I had my first scan when I was only 9 weeks and was prepared for them to have trouble finding the baby as it would be so small but she found it straight away, saw the heart beat (which did take some time to find) and the baby even wiggled it's arms and legs.

They don't look like much at that stage but 11 weeks is good and you should be able to see much more. If at 11 weeks everything seems fine on the scan your chances of miscarrying are very low!!

I was 7wk +2 when I had mine and baby himself didnt look like much other than a little bean but the heartbeat was there and its wonderfully reassuring to see.

I think I read something about seeing the heartbeat meaning that the risk of m/c drops.

I had my first scan at 11 weeks and baby was really clear. Could see the heartbeat and limbs really well!

You'll be fine - I was completely convinced that they wouldn't find any baby at all! Paranoia!

I am having my 8 week scan next Tuesday morning, (had one at 4 weeks when baby(ies) were just little circles). The doctor said I should be able to see it/them and the heartbeat. Soooo excited!! Good luck!

I had to go for a scan yesterday as I was bleeding a little and wanted peace of mind. I thought I was 10 weeks on Monday however, seen my little bean's heartbeat and its only 6 weeks and 4 days old! Its only 6 mm in length. So I think as long as there is a heartbeat the chances of M/C is very slim.

You should be fine, after all once you've seen the heartbeat theres less chance of miscarraige, especially this far on Try to relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy, and let us know how the scan goes

I had my first one at 12 weeks on the dot. I'm sure they change, but not like drastically from 11 to 12 weeks. I would just relax and enjoy it. They dont look like much (and the different between 12 and 20 weeks is phenominal!) just a little bean with a head and little stick arms/legs. Mine was bouncing up and down.. like a bouncing bean . I cried. I cried at all my ultrasounds though.
