Cord blood bank

I went to my appointment last week, and there was some information regarding storing the cord blood by CordLife. I found the service interesting, but quite expensive. It costs around 2500 USD or more to store the blood, depending on the how many years you want it to be stored.

My question is... does it really worth it? Anyone planning on storing the baby cord blood?

i've read a little about the benefits of it, but it's too expensive for me to even consider.
