spotting has put fear of god into me

Hello Ladies

I am completely worried sick. Yesterday I had a tiny spot of pink when I wiped. It dissapeared after that.

This morning, three wipes of tiny spots of slightly darker pink.

Not lots just small amounts,. which have again ceased. But I am waiting for the doctor to call me back and I am so worried.

Is it normal to spot a bit at 5- 6 weeks?

Hello!

Don't know if this is reasurring but I had a bit of bleeding this Tuesday and I've had awful back pains. Hospital took me in for an emergency scan at 8 + 4. They did an internal scan and I was expecting the worst but ta-daaaa, there was a little cutie with a fluttering heartbeat. It was the perfect size and everything was great.

They didn't even really talk about the bleeding which makes me think that it's not that uncommon. Try and take it easy. I hope everything is ok for you xxxx

I have had spotting since Saturday and I have ongoing cramps ... normal normal normal they tell me. Of course it could be bad news but it's also very common in a healthy pregnancy.

I really wish it would stop and I know exactly how you feel

Hi I thought i'd pop over from 2nd tri!

I had this around week 6 - I was so scared! I went to A&E just to get checked, doc felt my tummy but basically said go home Anyway I contacted my Early Pregnancy Dept and I was able to get an early scan at 7 weeks. Everything seemed fine and we got to see beans heartbeat

Do you have a Early Pregnancy Dept that you could get an early scan for reassurance?

x

I'm a first pregnancy too. I can understand. I couldn't stop crying! People would probably think it was an overreaction but it was out of my control. Having to tell hubby I was bleeding was so upsetting. Kept thinking about how I was going to tell my MIL the bad news as she is so excited. Your mind just thinks the worst things! xxxx
