Can anyone help with my early scan? *Updated*

I am sorry if I am boring everyone with this pic, however the nurse said when she was scanning that sh couldnt rule out twins.

We didnt really think that much about it at the time and we only saw one heart beat.

A friend from work took one look at the scan today and said "look theres the other sac" and pointed to the right of the prominent sac.

She thinks that is another sac.

The nurse that took the scan to her own admission is not s sonographer however was scanning us as a favour so that we can be discharged from the care of the fertility department.

Is my work friend seeing things??? I couldnt see this until she pointed it out and even now it could just be a shaddow???

I did really look at anything other than the bit I thought was the baby. I am now beginning to wonder.

OH hasnt seen this other blob yet and he is not in until later!

We thought she meant that they might be lying side by side if there were two.

In one way I would love twins as my oh is 48 and I am not sure if we will have another chance for another baby, however he already has twins ( a boy and a girl) who were the best babies who slept well and were no problem. He would love more, on the basis the first two werent too much trouble.

On the other hand I am terrified if we had twins we may never sleep again! I need to go back to work after 5 mths as oh is retired and he will be looking after them all day. I think it would be a lot for him on his own.

Hmmm difficult one, but I would be grateful either way, but in some ways I really want to know now so I can get my head round it!!

Looks to me like another sac, oh hun it's gonna be a long wait to the 12 week mark now. Can't you request an earlier routine scan with the antenatal department if you explain to them what you see on this scan? If it is twins you will surely need to be more closely monitored anyway. I'm so excited for you I wanna know lol xx
