i had my 1st doc visit yesterday and he did a vaginal ultrasound and found nothing he said that it could be still early and sent me for an hCG blood exam and the result was 272 and he said that its a bit on the low side and it could either be just early or ive miscarried again. im doing another blood test tomorrow to see if there is any progress!
any1 been in this position?? i dont know what to think
i do have a longish period so i could easily be 3-4 weeks rather than 5 weeks

You are probably just a bit earlier than you thought. Don't worry about the hcg number just focus on it rising. They say it should be doubling but my Obstetrician says a 66% increase or more in 48 hours is normal. I would say as long as your next number comes back at 450 or more you are doing ok.

thanks, im just worring it wont increase i cant imagine another miscarriage

hey, when i went for my scan i thought i was 5 weeks 6 days when in fact i was only just about 5 weeks... maybe youre not as far gone as you think hun, its easily done good luck xx

i just got my 2nd hcg result and its 606!!!!!! it seems everything is going ok!! now have to wait til 9/12 for docs visit!! just probably ovulated late

!!!!!!!!!!!
