Advice for friend needed!!!!

Hi everyone, my friend is 6 weeks pregnant but is getting period like cramps in her belly this morning, normal or not? She's had a miscarriage about 4 months ago so is obviously worried about this happening again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

hey i had period like cramps with turned out to be stretching pains so from my experience i was grand. but she could ring the early pregnancy unit in her nearest hospital. i went to it a few weeks ago and they were great and really reassuring.

hope shes ok

I also had period like craps up until 8 weeks and everything so far is fine with me. They could be stretching pains, there is alot going on in your tummy at this time. If she is especailly worried I would advise her to go to her gp and voice her concerns, even if it's to put her mind at rest. Hopefully everything turns out to be ok x

had the same and still do and am 6 weeks! I also had a previos m/c 6 months ago so it's natural to fear everything and I tend to over anylyse everything!
If she worried about anything call NHS direct or the midwife that what they are there for! Will at least put her mind at ease xx

I still have mild period like cramps...your friend should be fine as long as they are not painful and she's not spotting/bleeding, otherwise I'd tell her to get checked out.
