Bleeding experiences

There seems to be alot of threads on bleeding so thought I would add my experiences. Please add yours and hopefully we can help each other.

DS1 - No bleeding at all. Born at 37wks
DS2 - Started bleeding at 12 weeks, bright red, no clots. I continued to 'pour' bright red blood (about a mug full every day!) with small clots and cramping. I was admitted to hosp a number of times and told I was having an inevitable miscarriage. Discovered around 20wks I had 'subchronic haematoma' (Blood clot in uterus)
At exactly 26wks (still pouring with blood and cramping) I went to hosp again and he was born 8mins later. In the end I had a placenta abruption (due to the haematoma) He was 600grams and the size of your hand. My dates were wrong and he was 24wks. He was very very very ill but is now nearly 2yrs and has no lasting effects. His smile melts my heart.

PG3 - had v light brown/tan spotting that kept starting and stopping for 2 weeks. Then red bleeding started suddenly with bad cramps/pain and I m/c 24hrs later at 7wks.

I am now pg straight after m/c with no af.

So as you can see, red blood doesn't always end bad and also brown spotting sometimes is a concern. Total opposite as to what you are usually told!
Just remember that everybody is different.

Hope this has helped some of you

My mcs always started out like a period, immediate bleeding, but I had brown spotting for four weeks in the 1st Tri with my LO and all was fine.

I was told at 8 weeks that the gestational sack was no longer growing at he same pace as baby, it was slower. Two weeks later though, everything seemed fine.
