Well... Thanks girls, everything seems to be clearer now, OH got through to the hospital and they told me to go in at 8 am on monday to have it done so it seems not to be too critical that it´s done within 48 hours. It´s definately a test for Downs but I´m not too worried now as they told me at my scan that I am low risk anyway. So thanks again everyone, sorted

I glad your scan went well, bless first you had trouble getting the scan and then this I honestly have no idea why you'd have to have a blood test, have you had your hiv,syphilis blood tests yet??

Yes had them done at ten weeks, apparently if you have a blood test along with the NT scan then the results are said to be 90% accurate, instead of 75% with just the scan, although everything was fine they put me at 11 + 2 which I´m not happy about, my dates aren´t wrong so I don´t know whether to put my ticker back or not, or if the baby´s growth will catch up, what do you guys think??? That would mean I´d be 11 + 4 now
