I fainted half an hour after arriving at work the other day! Ive fainted before, years ago, when i bumped my head. But this was so weird: i just suddenly went hot, n hyperventilated n fainted! I came to and 1 of the nurses was holding me up like a baby! Working at a vets, it wasnt too bad a place to faint as i had plenty of medically knowledgeable ppl around to help! lol! They rang hubby & he came to pick me up & took me to a&e straight away. They gave me a full MOT, which came back fine & said "its just one of those things. Try not to get too hot or tired!!" wtf?? Work told me to take the day off n rest (even tho i felt perfectly fine afterwards).... which involves a lot of sitting down in a dark room....... so we went to the cinema!! naughty!!

i neqrly fainted once in work i was about 14 weeks pregnant and i had been ill for two weeks i was not fully up to going back to work but my boss was moanig and i needed the money for rent so i went back in in the job i did i had to stand up after about 45 mins i went all funny and dizzy and knew i was gonna faint so i sat down but everytime i went to get up i felt like i was gonna pass out again so i got sent home and that was the end of my working there x

I've never fainted in my life but I ALMOST fainted a few weeks back in a grocery store. I suddenly got light headed and felt like I was gonna pass out. Glad you are okay.

hi ....first time i ever fainted and it happend in the shower believe it or not,lol....i was sat on the floor in the shower while i was washing my hair and when i got up 10 seconds after i hear ringing and went all light headed and my vishion went all blury and i started 2 2 feel like i was sufficating and suddenley i went all numbe and my legs suddleny callasped then i blacked out and i fell wacked my head on the tilles and banged my arse hard on the floor and aftewr a 2 minets i came 2 my eyes were all blurry still very dizzy and very confused and scared what is happening 2 me and felt like i should try and get up and get out of the shower coz ovioulsy i was scared and didnt know what was happening 2 me and slided the door open so i could breath more better and try and move up off the floor but i couldnt and i had 2 try and crawl out of the bath room coz i had no feeling from my waist down and still couldnt see and every things was spinning...but i manage just 2 get out of the bathroom and got my phone out of my trouser pocket they were on the the bathroom floor and i rung my partner crying and very shakin on the phone he couldnt understand what i was saying coz i was soo upset and he came rushing home ten min he was home wondering whats happend and i was there on the floor outside the bathroom wet and stark naked and still very numbe and breathing really quickly and heavily and wayne helped me put my cloths on and rushed me 2 hospital in A and E and the doctor siad u did the right thing comming in he siad its normal in pregnancys but its never happend 2 me before and i didnt know its common 2 happen when ur pregnant but what crap timing,lol in the shower naked,lol. every thing was okay they did tests on me and checked me over and siad i was fine apart from the huge bump on my head and my bruised bum,lol....but now i only have a shower when my other half is home....

nearly fainted twice! once in the queue in sainsaburys, () was at the check-out and just went all dizzy, OH was waiting outside and this really sweet old man (sounds mean, but i don't know how else to put it..) helped me into a chair until my OH came in to check where I had got to, was there for about 20 minutes...oops
and then again a couple of weeks ago in the shower, luckily my OH was with me and caught me...not going anywhere alone now, lol

i fainted the day after i got my landed on my shoulder and hip...everything is tucked up safe in the early stages though so all was fine. I was told to keep very hydrated, wear layers so i can remove clothes if i get to hot, and the min i feel a bit dizzy sit down regardless of where i am lol xx
