I am so sorry. I agree that you should get yourself checked at the A&E.

I just wanted to share my own experience with all of you. I am still 'weirded' out about it..but it happened.

At 7 weeks 3 days, I gushed out bright red blood after dinner. I thought I was having a miscarriage for sure. It was like straight out of the movies..standing in my own puddle of blood. My husband and I immediately went to the ER and they ran blood tests on me. Blood test results came back normal - HCG was 38058. From 7 days before, HCG was 23,399. It increased, but doc says a slow increase after 6000 was normal. Note that I didn't have a fever.
Ultrasound technician took a look at me the next morning. Baby was there with a healthy heart rate of 144 bpm. They concluded that it was a hemorrage in my uterus - but it wasn't affecting the sac. To this day (I am 9 weeks 3 days today), I am still spotting...but my baby is still there.

Everything I read online (if you are bleeding bright red blood), says that it is most likely a miscarriage. Honestly, everyone is different. I know how tough it is as I had an ectopic pregnancy in June, but just try to stay positive. I am living proof that bleeding bright red blood does not mean miscarriage. It can be other factors.

Crossing my fingers for you!

Sweetie I hope by now you have gone to A&E. Not because of the bleeding - as others have said, there can still be hope - but because of the fever and faintness. I would recommend this to any pregnant woman who had sudden fever, bleeding or not.

Please, please do go and get checked out. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed - you know that we are all here hoping that things go well for you.

Hi there, I am sorry that you are worried. I would def go to a&e and get checked out. FX its not the end. Plenty of ladies get bleeding early on and have healthy pregnancies. I think any fever or light headedness should be investigated.

Good luck, we are thinking of you. XXX

I bled bright red with my 1st at 7weeks and 11 weeks. I never m/c though. I had a subchronic hemotoma (?), I think that's what it was called. Just try to relax until you can get to the doctor. I'm praying that nothing is wrong.
