My actual LMP was like the 28th of August... But I knowwww im not that far gone, because I had a mc on the 1st of October.. so im counting that as my "LMP" otherwise I would think I was about 3 months or something.. when im only 7weeksplus! x x x

I have 50+ day cycles most months so I can't go from LMP. The doc said the same thing today that judging by my blood results I couldn't be much more than 6 weeks but if you go from my LMP i would be 9 and a half weeks which I know I am not.
They just use LMP as a rough guide for those who have average cycles and don't chart, but if you know your cycle or know when you ovulated that is a much more certain way to determine how far along you are.

Hope this helps x

its all confusing to me....apparently i was due to ovulate on 25th october, or between 23-25th; according to statistics i ovulated on 21st-22nd.... had i waited to have had sex around 23rd/25th i'd probably not have conceived.
cycles are weird.

You'll probably find that if your scan shows less than 1 weeks difference from LMP dates they won't even change it in your notes...
So few babies arrive at 40 weeks anyway!
