exactly the same moving makes me feel ill. I wake in the middle of the night feeling sick. Can't keep anything down and can't go anywhere, as i'm just sick all the time. I'm feeling bad because my OH is doing everything. I'm pleased the pregnancy is ok and happy to be pregnant, but i've never felt so awful!

From weeks 5-10 I had no energy, yawned all day, and as soon as I got home from work I was asleep on the couch. But, the tiredness has mostly gone away now. I still feell nauseous all the time, but not the overwhelming waves I had before.

I do need 9-10 hours of sleep a night now (up from 8 hours pre-pregnancy). i think that really helps.

I usually want to kick people for saying this, but they say that exercise might make you feel better. Might be worth a try!

Feel better

This exactly how i feel too............

I'm grouchy, sad, angry, tearful, sensitive, exhausted, nauseaus, fed-up, unreasonable, and all the time wishing this part over......

I find i can't get excited about the pregnancy until this bit is over.... hopefully by wk 14 latest.

I've just started feeling that way today. I really hope this doesn't get any worse than this coz I fee really crappy! The thought of food is so repulsive and I'm in such a foul mood.

You sounds like me! I have found out... I do not like being pregnant (at least in the 1st trimester). It does not affect me on being totally excited for our little one to join us.... I just wish it was NOW! haha!

I am ready to be feeling better and I am dying to feel my baby's kicks!

I have been fine (about 5 weeks) but my SIL is about 11 weeks now and has been seriously depressed since the pregnancy began, so I know exactly what you mean. It's really awful for her. She is thrilled to be pregnant, but the sickness, tiredness and depression make life pretty miserable for her right now. Luckily she has our in-laws to take care of her little one so she and her OH can get lots of extra sleep and spend some time together, as it is extra rough trying to care for another kiddo when you feel terrible.

I guess the good news is that your first tri will be over soon, but I wonder if you could talk to your doctor and get him or her on side to explain to your OH that this can happen during pregnancy and you need lots of understanding and extra support? Basically your body and hormones are in turmoil, so don't feel guilty for feeling so awful.
