My sister had a scan at this stage and they could see babys heartbeat, other than that i'm not sure. Good luck x

i wanted to have a scan at this stage too but was advised that if they couldnt see anything due to it being early, it may cause un-neccesarry worry- whereas if i had waited til 7-8 weeks i would see the heartbeat etc!!!
I opted to wait it out but the wait is killing me.
i saw my sons heartbeat at 7w4d....

We had our first scan and we were 6 weeks 1 day and saw the heart beat but can be totally normal too if u cant see the heart beat that early. Hope u have a fab scan on wednesday xxx

I had a scan at 6 weeks + 2 and I was able to see the heartbeat. I was warned before hand that it might still be too early.

Hi buddy! I'm having a scan on fri and midwife told me I should see heartbeat and by then I'll be around 6+2

I was 6 weeks 1 day with my first scan - it's pretty cool because you should see a very fast little heartbeat. I haven't posted my pic anywhere because it's pretty useless - all you can really see on the printout is a line that the doc. drew showing the size - 4mm!
i reckon whatever pics you find online at 6 weeks are going to be less interesting than what you will actually see next week.

hey i had mine on friday! i was 6weeks 3 days! earlier than i had thought! anyway i sae my uterus, the sac and a little blob which is my baby. On that I could see a very fast hearbeat! baby measured 0.57 cm. It's amazing to think something so tiny can have a heartbeat!!
