Thanks girls - have to say it was the best experience ever when they said - oh my gosh - there is a heartbeat. I think even though they were trying to stay optimistic even they were surprised. Funny thing also - when I got to the docs my midwife took my blood pressure - 160/80 - she said shit that is high - are you feeling stressed - mmmm gee what do you think??? After they did the scan and everything was ok it went straight back down to 120/80. No more stress for me please.

I love happy endings like this! I know there's still a long way to go, but even though I'm a med student, it's all too scientific. The first few weeks, development happens so quickly and things are so small.

Nothing can be certain so early on! And you're living proof and hope for all the ladies with negative early scans.

I'm so happy for you!!!
