I had a scan at 6+6 (by my dates) but they put me back to 6 weeks by my scan measurements (3.8mm) . I saw my uterus, the sac, a little white blob which was our baby and a little flutter which they said was the heartbeat. It was magical and they've said I can go back next week for a follow up to try and see more.

Thanks girls, well it is nearly midnight where I am and my scan is at 10 in the morning, I will be sure to log on afterwards and update. I'm feeling strangely calm and excited, the nerves seem to have faded, and for some reason (maybe wishful thinking) I keep thinking and dreaming that they will find two in there tomorrow?!?! Hope so but if its just one I will be excited by that too. See you all tomorrow when I update. xxx

Well unfortunately girls things don't look good for me. I had the scan today and they saw a sac that measured 1.97cm but couldn't see anything inside the sac, no fetal pole or yolk sac. They said this could be because my dates are wrong but the obstetrician agrees with me that they probably aren't. Even if I got my bfp at 8dpo I would have to be 5+5 at a minimum today and they should have seen something by then.

He is doing a HCG draw tomorrow to see where my levels are at, and if I haven't started bleeding by next friday he'll do a scan then also but he said to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I know its not over yet so I will hang in there but I think its only a matter of time. Thanks for your support and answering this for me, so sad I didn't get to see it. x
