When did you tell everyone?

I only got my BFP last night and already i'm bursting to tell, but it's really early days so i'm not going to, but it's so hard

Just wondered how long you all left it before you broke the happy news? x

Hi _Hope_ . Congrats on your BFP!!! Yay!

I dont really have the answer to your question. We told my mum and dad last week, but only because my mum has been tracking my cycle closer than I have.

I will tell work at week 10 as I am due to be flying a lot throughout January and I will not be flying.

I dont think there is a right or wrong, whatever suits your situation. XXX

The OH told MIL today - apparently it slipped out! Lol I'm going to tell my family after I've seen the midwife (I'm still so early - 5weeks and 1day - I think!!) but everyone else will have to wait til I have a scan pic to flash!!! It's so exciting - I just hope and pray that my lil bean sticks like superglue!! X

Lol, well I couldn't keep it in. As soon as I saw that BFP I told everyone. I probably should of waited, but I just couldn't. I told my hubby first of course. Then my mom. And from there on I told people.

But it was hard to keep something I'd been trying for for 2 years to myself. Ya know.

Hi hope! Huge congrats for making it here!
It's really a personal thing I guess but last time round I told everyone at about 6 wks but the worst happened and I lost my baby and I found it so so sad to then have to tell eveyone about my m/c and very upsetting !
Of course your be fine but I personally would hold off till at least 2
12 weeks but saying that it is such an exciting time especially over christmas it's guna b hard not to tell!

we are wating until after out first scan...the waiting is driving me nuts!!

still dont even know when our appointment will be yet, but hopefully before Xmas

i'll be 10 weeks on monday. we're going to wait to see how our 12 week scan goes the 7th of dec. each of our siblings know (they are each doctors/midwife) so it was really helpful to ask questions. also, 2 very close girlfriends know and my boss knows (just in case something were to happen). hopefully all will go well on the 7th, and we'll be calling our parents.

That's the problem, with me ttc for so long everyone close to me knows my cycle better than me (actually I doubt that lol)! My sister asked me yesterday if I had tested yet, which was kinda what made me do it in the first place!

Want to wait but you are right, it really is going to be difficult with Christmas coming too! Think I will play it safe and just tell those very close to me xx

I have only told about 4 people that are super close to me and I won't be telling anyone else until I am around 12-14wks along, as for the rest of the people they can find out once they notice the bump LOL LOL.

I'm going to wait until I'm 12 weeks because a work mate told everyone after her 3 month scan and M/C 2 days later... So I want to wait at least until the 12 weeks and hope I'm lucky!!
