Thats what I have been doing and my mum bought me cotton gloves. The mild anesthetic gives a bit of relief! XX

I use a Lush cream called 'Dream Cream'. All natural ingredients and really moisturising so keeps the eczema at bay. I find that by keeping the skin moisturised it doesn't itch. And definitely sudocrem to stop any infection.

I have suffered with eczema since I've been a toddler. I have literally tried EVERYTHING. I've been to dermatologists, etc. I use a 2.5% hydrocortisone cream for flair ups. The doctor told me it was fine. I also mosturize with Aveeno lotion all over my body (literally). This helps a lot too. Because it's winter the drier your skin gets the worse the eczema will get. I am having a problem on my hands right now. But that's because they're exposed all the time to the cold. The doctor said my eczema may get better while I'm pregnant. I highly doubt that. Haha. So far it's been worse but I really think it's because it's winter.

Just over a week ago I started getting some flaky skin on my hands and they were starting to go a bit red. I'd just bought some skincare products off eBay and the seller sent me some free samples of a hand and body lotion. I gave it a try and the flakiness starting disappearing within 24 hours!

Needless to say, I promptly bought myself a full-size bottle and it is absolutely fantastic. The flakiness and redness has completely gone, though I'm still using it just before bed cause it feels and smells so nice lol.

I don't know if it will be so beneficial on full-blown eczema, but it might be worth a try. It's called Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta Hand & Body Lotion and it's about £11:50 for a large bottle. I don't like to pimp individual sellers and it's easy enough to find via google, but I'll happily give you the eBay link if you want it.
