Placentia Previa

Hello! Any one else on bed rest or has been for this!? And how did you know your fetus was still alive? I am 11 weeks and on bed rest. But we cannot hear just see our Eggy's heartbeat!

placenta previa is not going to just cause your baby to die. Unless you are bleeding loads it should be fine, this is why they put you on bedrest. It's still early so chances are your palcenta might still move up! Fingers crossed... are you getting another scan soon?

Thanks for responding!

We get a scan at 13 weeks (end of November) but hubby wishes he could hear the heartbeat! It's too soon, but I believe I am fine. My bleeding has led up and is light. My Gyno says I am going to bleed on and off and plus I have always been a bleeder! This is my third baby! Thank you again!

No problems, I'm sure you will be fine... but I understand if you are bleeding that must be very worrying! Not too long til your scan now... maybe try listening to the heartbeat when you got a full bladder, heard from someone they always get it then!

Try and let me know if it works, I think she was 11 or 12 weeks, I guess it depends what doppler you got! xx

My mother had placenta previa grade 4 and would bleed massively every time she sat down....yet I am here to tell the tale. Just enjoy having your feet up and hope all goes well with the rest of your journey. x
