According to my mw, the nuchal scan needs to be done between 11+6 and 13+6. If my appointment comes after that date, I'll have to have the triple test a few weeks later.

oh gosh! You guys do things different in the UK. My scan is booked on the 14th of Dec and I'll be smack dab on 10 weeks according to my ticker and doing calculations, but the nurse at the place who took down my info was saying I'd be 10+3 so I'm confused. Everyone has different calculations LOL! Just breathe dear! It'll all be ok and you'll have a gorgeous picture of your baby to take home for Christmas! YAY!

There was no way I could wait, I lost loads of sleep being paranoid and so I just booked a scan for next week at 9 weeks. Another 4 weeks seems unbearble.

Its costing £75, which is quite a lot, but I already feel better and a lot more relaxed (and exicited) I reckon it is definently worth it!

I had a look on the internet there are loads of places that do them. Some do 4D scans as well which look s awesome, but obviously not until later on.

I can't wait to get mine, i'm 12 weeks on the 21st of Dec so I reckon I'll have to wait till after christmas for my scan

I just got my letter this morning - wasn't expecting it so soon!

My appt is scheduled for December 22nd. I'm glad it's before Christmas, but it's cutting it fine for me to send out cards with copies of the scan in. I don't really want to have to send them out special delivery, but I might do for the couple of relatives we're keen to surprise. Everyone else will have to wait lol.
