5-6 weeks & light bleeding

Hi guys,

When I went to the loo this morning and wiped there was light blood. I'm 5-6 weeks pregnant. Should I be worried?

Lots of people have bleeding at this stage. It may well not mean anything sinister. Between 5 - 6 weeks they should be able to do a scan at EPU and put your mind at rest. Get a referral through your doctor. Hope it is ok. xx

At this stage it could be implantation, what colour is it and are you in any pain?
I would maybe try and get your self a GP's appointment just to be on the safe side. xx

it was just literally when I went to the loo and was only when i wiped. Was pink in colour. Not in any pain. Have been having mild period cramps for the last couple of days, but nothing major.

hmm id go to the a&e if it was me, they will see you check you over and probs give you a scan to be on the safe side, sure things will be ok , hugs xx

I had spotting from week 5 to week 8, brown and red n went for a Scan each time. I'd say go the Docs n they will send u 4 a scan him n put your mind at rest I'm sure itl be ok xx

I have also experienced bleeding from wks 5 to 8 and have seen all shades red, although mine was continuous and more like a light period. Anyways, like lauram everything is fine so far. If you get yourself checked out, the EPU should continue to monitor your progress. Since the bleeding started, i've had 2 scans and will go for my 3rd this coming tues - which has help retain an element of sanity

thanks for the advice, its put my mind at rest. I went to the docs on tues for my 1st appointment and she told me to come back in 2 weeks as it is still early days. So if I go back there with light bleeding, I guess they will say to just see what happens. hmmm.....

If the bleeding worsens, ditch your doctor and go straight to A&E, and they'll refer you to the EPU. My doctor also fobbed me off with this two week wait malarky - it's horrible and unfair! xx
