cristinc Pregnant (Expecting) New BnB member Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 1	BV and Metrogel at 8 weeks I was diagnosed with BV last Friday. I am 8 weeks, almost 9, and the doctor gave me metrogel (vaginally) and I took my first dose last night and now I'm reading that it's not safe to use in the first trimester. Anyone else been prescribed this med in their first trimester?? Is it safe??? Thanks
