| Rough Week
Yesterday afternoon, while I was at work and SO was at home with Brayden (before dropping him off at his ex), the pipes backed up and flooded parts of our basement suite. The plumber had to be called and he got it unplugged, but now we're upstairs living with my uncle & aunt until the basement can get fixed. They had to strip the carpets and redo the floors, and then they might have to fix the bottom of the walls as well..they don't know if the water got in the wall as well.
I'm refusing to think about it because I don't want to get stressed out right now. Especially after I found out that my dad was put into the hospital this past Wednesday because of internal bleeding. They still don't know if he'll need surgery or if the medicine they gave him made it so his artery will be ok and heal on it's own. I'm worried but I'm trying not to get stressed over it because that's not going to do any good. |
