1st scan tmw, 2nd baby and jelly belly :(

Pretty much as the title suggests I'm going for my 1st/nuchal scan tmw and I'm so worried that they're not going to find anything or not be able to see anything as I still have a major jelly belly from being hugely pg with DS1 (pic on my journal that I never update)

I know it probably sounds silly but I'm just not comfortable with my body since my last pregnancy, I started losing weight then had a major car accident and shortly after fell pg again, I'm now 1 1/2 stone heavier than I was at this stage last time and my body shape is completely different. I just think they're going to laugh at me tmw and say that I need to lose weight before they scan properly

Can anyone else relate?

Aww.. its hard to be pregnant after baby 1.. your body is just not the same. After we lost our first baby.. I was pregnant 1mth after and my body was not back to normal and I think that it has forever scared me. I gained like 10-15lbs in first trimester then slowed down. I was losing weight before I just got pregnant. Then my thyroid went out of whack again and I could figure out why I had gained 10-15lbs in the last year and then I got my meds re-adjusted just in time to find out I was pregnant. So now i am up over what I wanted to be because I was almost pre-pregnancy weight from my second. I hope I can lose it next summer! But I completely understand. I am just happy my pants can still zip up.. lol.

Oy can I relate! I had a c-section with my son, baby #1, and I not only have a jelly belly but I have that awful belly overhang from the scar. I was worried the midwife wouldn't be able to feel my uterus underneath it all, but she did. I have had the same worry about not only my scan, but being able to find the heartbeat in the office with the doppler.
