Hi all,

Did 3 positive tests last week, bit surprised as so used to negs up to now, but v happy! However, have no idea how far I am as periods have been up the wall for several months now. Last one was in Nov, but don't think i can be that far as had an internal scan in Dec. Somebody told me that an early pregnancy can be missed on a scan, does anybody know if this is true? Not got scan for another 2 weeks, and am going crazy trying to work out how far I might be. Is there any way of telling roughly from your symptoms? Got sore, swollen breasts, strange intermittent cramps in my lower tummy and some nausea, mainly later in the day and the evening. What symptoms are others experiencing at the mo?
The next 2 weeks are going to go sooooooo slowly. But the scan date is on my birthday so hoping all is well, and that'd be the best present I could ask for!

I dont think you can get a date just by your symptoms hun. The scan is the only way with you not having your LMP date.

I've been waiting what feels like ages for my follow up scan and the 2 and a half weeks has gone really quickly!! its on monday!!

hi all,

well im kinda in the same situation, iv been ttc for the past 8 months after the removal of the contraceptive imlant but had no joy, i recently decided to lose weight to see if that helps and also go back on the pill till iv lost all the weight, i too havent had a period since 2nd november 07!!

well i lost 2 and half stone and was taking the pill for 12 days when i started vomiting nausea etc and low and behold got a positive p test!!!!!!!

that was last saturday my scan isnt till next friday and it seems like ages, im too not sure how far gone i am but my nausea is dreadful at the mo

im really anxious to see if evthing ok with baby because of my weightloss as i lost 2 and a half stone within 5 weeks and taking the pill aswell so very nervous, gp said all should be ok

Oh,trust me I was taking the oill while pregnant because I didn't know and everything is fine,I'm sure that your weight loss wasn't harmful,unless you were starving yourself,which I don't think you did.

well i must say i kinda was starvin myself cus i was on the cambridge diet which consists of no food at all and just 3 milkshakes a day and lots of water and i did that for 5 weeks but i am lookin on the bright side though as when i found out i was pregnant with my son i didnt find out till i was 7 months gone and i had done lots of things in that 7months eg. getting drunk and i was so worried i had done my lil man some damage but he was perfect (and i havent ever drank alcohol again since the day i found out nearly 5 years ago) i was really scared but all was well in the end just hope this is too
