16 week gender scan £50...bargain

Ive been thinking about getting a 16 week gender scan but most of the places seem quite expensive but ive found a place in lincoln that have a special offer, if you have the scan done between 9am and 5pm on a thursday then instead of it costing £79.99 its only £50.00 and you can buy a dvd of the scan for only £15.00!! It seems like such a bargain. The only thing im a bit worried about is that it says you have to take your maternity notes with you and im worried that if the write anything about the scan on my notes then i would miss out on my 20 week NHS scan. Would the private company write anything in the notes?

I doubt they will write in your notes, they probably want to know if there are any complications or something, I had to give my GP details when I went for private scans before.. I guess in case they find something thats a cause for concern when they scan you? Maybe just to verify your dates from your dating scan... I don't think they will write in there, but you can always ask them when you call to make the appointment. Sounds like a really good price.. I just moved from Lincolnshire what a shame, would have loved to go for one of those!
