Advice on BFP but had what I thought was period

Hi,

I got a strong second line on a Superdrug test mid morning today and a pregnant 2-3 weeks again this afternoon on a CB digital. I had what I thought was a period last week which was lighter than normal but did have one heavier moment for a couple of hours on Thurs then it was light again and finished on Sunday. The only reason I tested was because I was getting really strong postive OPKs yesterday and this morning which isn't normal for me as I usually get a surge on OPKS on CD20-21. Have I had miscarriage and just have HCG left in my system? I'm a bit confused!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the only way to know is to get blood tests done to confirm whether numbers are going up or down. I was in a similiar boat back in September...I tested 5wks after a MC and got a light +...then two days later it got lighter, then lighter...until BFN. I will never really know if it was leftover HCG from my mc or a chemical pg.

i had light bleeding at the start of my pregnancy.. it lasted about 5 days.. it was light most days and heavy for like a few hours on one of the days.. i had bloods done the following weekend and said they didn look like i had m/c..

if you had no pain or no or little blood clots you sud be ok.. just go to your doc and get bloods done
