Is this Morning Sickness?

Ok so I'm 7 weeks pregnant tomorrow. About 10-12 days ago a very strange thing happened and I totally lost my appetite (very unlikely me!). I haven't actually been sick but I have just totally gone off food and am eating very little because I feel quite queasy. This lasts all day and I have only managed to consume very small amounts of food and I have totally gone off all my favourites.

About a week ago, I picked up some form of flu/cough bug which I have now got rid off (just) and feeling much better. However, I am still off my food because I am just not hungry and feel quite sicky. Sometimes I will eat when I feel sick because I also feel genuinely hungry and feel that eating may help - but it doesn't.

Is this a form of morning sickness? At first I blamed the bug for my lack of appetite but don't think it can be because I'm over it now.

I haven't even touched my birthday cake from 11 days ago!! The thought of it really makes me feel quite yuk!!

Sure sounds like it to me. I never threw up (well not from the MS at least) but had horrible nausea all day and all night long. Eating small meals regularly tends to help keep the nausea at bay. Also soda crackers and 7 up were my life savers.

It probably is. Most people find they feel better after eating a little bit of something plain but not everyone. At least you're not actually being sick from it.

Thanks Ladies.

I have been a chocoholic since a child and I've even gone off that!!! Haven't touched any for days.

It seems to wear off by about 7pm so I am managing to eat better in the evenings really.
