Anyone had the Swine Flu vaccine and had their baby since??

Can anyone please let me if you have already had the vaccine and since have had your baby??

Please can you advise me as to whether i should have the vaccine or not?

And if any of you have any other advice you could give me regarding the vaccine, i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks xx

I can not speak from a medical opinion but personally I am not having it done. I don't think there was enough testing done - its only been around a few months and has no evidence to support that it will not harm a fetus that is less than 12 weeks gestation. I hope I am making the right choice but I think its completely individual.

I will also add that I am not a person who is anti immunisation. My son has had all his immunisations up to date and will continue to have them as will any future kids.

Hope you do whatever make you happy and feel comfortable - cause your the only one that has to live with the consequences of your decision no matter what you choose and what is right or wrong. Hope this helps. xxx

Swine flu jab

Hi there. Yes I had the jab and my little one arrived 5 days later happy and healthy. I had been againist getting the jab but then 3 weeks before having baby I got swine flu. It was just awful and I would do anything to protect my little one against it. The fact that she now has some immunity -although I am not sure how much as it takes 7 days for the baby to get something like 80% immunity, it makes me feel a little better knowing I done the best by her. I would have liked her to have got the full 80% but as she arrived early I am just hoping she has at least some protection.
Hope this helps.
