My oldest two are 15 months apart, they are now 5 and 4 and the best friends. They do everything together, and have the most amazing relationship I have seen in a brother and sister. I loved it so much I have been ttc since two months after my youngest was born

My two are 14 months apart, now 3 (girl) and 22 months (boy) and get along really well most of the time. Like any siblings they have their fights, but at Playcentre if any of the older kids get a bit boisterous with my youngest, his big sister gets very protective of him and guides him out of the way - it's so sweet to see. I didn't find a baby and a toddler too hard, but it's very hard work looking after two active and excitable toddlers, though I wouldn't have it any other way.

I loved it so much we started trying for no.3 when there would have been a 20 month gap. Sadly we lost twins at 12.5 weeks, but that would have been very interesting and fun. Now we are looking at a 2.5 year gap, which is more than we would have liked, but it's out of our hands and I'm sure the next one will fit in perfectly regardless. I keep joking to my hubby that we'll just have to have another one close to number 3! He's not overly keen on the idea though as we are both rather too rapidly approaching 40.

There is 13 months difference in my younger 2 children and although at the time I was mortified, it has been fab they are so close in fact like a married couple, lol. They bicker, fight, kiss and make up. My daughter just turned 7 a couple of weeks ago and my son has his 6th birthday in a few weeks. I found that they entertained each other when smaller, which allowed me more time to get things done. Good luck. x
