Smells

I'm wondering if anyone is having a problem with smells. I want to kiss, hold, lay next to, sit with...hell anything with my lovely wife. She can't stand to be around me though, and I'm kind of a clean freak, so it's not that I actually stink. I can't hold her, kiss her more than on her forehead for a second. It's frustrating to me buts it's got to be terrible for her. So I was just wondering if anyone else is having that problem?

I'm having a big problem with smells at the moment! Everytime i open the fridge i feel like i want to hurl not because its dirty but because it smells of sandwich meat and bacon and other food i can't tolerate at the moment....and i nearly vomitted when hubby came back from a run the other day all sweaty even though he was stood clear across the room... ohh and when he came and sat next to me smelling of chili doritos... its make me gag just thinking about it....dont take it personally love!

I did have....I was convinced my OH's breath was AWFUL for about a week, I couldn't face him in bed, let alone anything else. lol Now, he doesnt have bad breath, and his oral hygiene is great, he doubled everything he was doing too, mouthwash n all, but nope. It STANK as far as I was concerned. Poor bloke. Luckily it passed after that week and we've been fine since lol

I've actually never mentioned this before...I thought I was an oddball

Also, just on my way out the door to work and sprayed my favorite Gucci perfume.. and that made me gag as well! So, basically anything... good or bad smelling... is making me sick... lovely

My sense of smell is really good usually anyway but over the past week or so it has just got stupidly good.

Just last week my husband came home from work, he opened the front door no more than a crack and instantly I smelt petrol so I said to him “why do you smell of petrol” he was like “what” and I said “I can smell petrol really strongly, have you spilt petrol on yourself or something”. He said that he had stopped at the garage and someone had spilt a little petrol on the forecourt and he must’ve got a bit on his shoe and that he couldn’t even smell it but to be it smelt like he had spilt a gallon of it down himself.

Sometimes when he has been eating certain foods he will go to kiss me or hug me and I can smell them on him straight away, even if he ate them six or seven hours ago.

I’ve kind of got used to it now as that is usual for me anyway but it is extra sensitive at the moment. Cooking smells especially can really turn my stomach right now which isn’t good.

oh my poor man cant ever win right now. I cannot handle being touched or kissed and pretty much all food smells make me gag, so it limits him wht HE can eat when I am home! He ordered a pizza this weekend and the smell was so horrible I had to hide upstairs!

I am ready for this to be over. I am too afraid to even go out to eat because of all the smells.

Add me to the growing list lol. My hubby came out of the bath yesterday and the smell of the soap and shampoo he always uses was overwhelming for a couple of hours afterwards, really made me feel sick. I have also noticed his breath too, even though he practices good dental hygiene.

But it really is any smell that makes us queasy, I caught a whiff of my own underarms yesterday and nearly gagged and I'm not an unclean person lol.

One particular smell that sets me off really bad at the moment is cat food. I can't feed the cats myself because of it, though I can still smell it when I'm not even in the same room.
