Chickens in the garden and pregnancy

Hi all!
I just wondered how many others on here keep chickens, and what advice they've been given about contact with them?

I have four hens and two quails, and am really good at hand washing, but are there any other precautions to take? Funnily enough, I hate eggs, so the chances of me eating an under cooked one are slim!

i dont keep them but guess as long as you wash your hands but would also consider wearing gloves just to be on the safe side

Do birds have vaccinations?
