Shooting pains?...

Has anyone else experienced this? On Thurs night i started getting like a shooting pain kind of to the left by Fri it had worn off a bit and has gone now. I had been trying to find out about it on web and think it could be stretching pains??

Was just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar?

xx

it could be stretching pains hun, especially if they happen when you move suddenly ( like standing up or turning over, sneezing etc..
if you're worried get it checked out but its probably nothing

Hey hun I've had exactly the same on my left side on Friday evening and a dull pain once or twice on Saturday afternoon, I'd be interested to know what it is but when I asked my mum she thought it may well be ligament movement as the womb expands. Glad I'm not the only one!

at your time of pregancy hun everything is getting bigger and its probably ligament stretching pains, so I really wouldn't worry. Talk to your MW if you're very concerned about it though so you can get medical reassurance.

I've had stabbing/shooting pains in my left side just above my bikini line for about two weeks and sometimes it is extremely painful, they sent me for an early scan and everything seems to be ok. It's still too early for me to be having ligament pain, so it just goes to show you can have all sorts of aches and pains in your body, it doesn't necessarily mean that something is wrong.

Try to stay off the web as it'll worry the life out of you as the diagnosis is always wrong and seems really awful. Just come to BnB with any questions you might have and someone would've gone through the same thing and will be able to help. The web is a scarry place during pregnancy, I've learnt that through experience
