dh and i are currently in discussions about when we tell people our fab news. It is not easy though! i'm currently 6 weeks, hence won't have a scan for another 6 weeks. Hubby wonders if our parents might be miffed if we turn up with a 12wk piccie in hand.....

any ideas anyone? i really don't want to offend people by not saying anything, but at the same time, i am still in the paranoia stage.....

Thats really up to you. I told my sister and nan almost straight away because I knew if anything went wrong I'd tell them. Then everyone found out from that. Well except my dad who I told when I was about 18 weeks.

We told are parents straight away and then i think pretty much everyone knew by 10 weeks as i had to tell my employer due to health and safety. It is totally up to you and your OH when is the right time to tell people.

I told my close family and friends pretty much straight away and then work soon after for health and safety. I think its totally up to you - there's no rules! x

I will wait till I get my 12 week scan report (currently 7.3 week).I didn't inform to parents too.................and they are really dying to hear this news....difficult to wait for me too .....

We told almost everyone as soon as we found out.

I have a hard time keeping my pregnancies a secret I always told people right away. These are the very people that I would tell if something went wrong.

With my very first pregnancy, it ended in a miscarriage the day after the doctor confirmed I was pregnant. I was so glad I told other's because my hubby wasn't quite so supportive.

We told our parents and brothers/sisters at 10 weeks. Unfortunately we don't get a scan until 15 weeks (I'm 14 now, and counting the days til next Mon!). After that if everything is ok, we'll tell everyone else. it has been really hard since the 12 week mark when people generally feel ok about spreading the good news, we've been held back a few weeks because of scan date, but finally it is nearly here...!
