i have told a few close friends and family only, i told a particular friend last time and she told loads of people (including some of my family!!!) and i then went on to miscarry and had to deal with family members asking me how far i was when i had lost the baby, thus this time i am not even going to tell her until she notices (im hoping to get to at least 18 weeks!)

I told my family, a few close friends and my manager straight away but are trying not to tell anyone else until 12 weeks, its really hard though as I am so excited I want to shout it from the rooftops but at the back of my mind I'm still really scared.

We told our parents as soon as we found out.
I told my employer at 6 weeks.
Had planned to tell the world after the 12 week scan, but found out today that I won't be getting one of those coz our local hospital is super-busy. Will prob have to wait to 20 weeks for 1st scan now! Will prob still spread the baby-love at 12 weeks or so anyway though - It'll be WAY to hard to hide til 20 weeks! hehe

We told close family and a few friends. I told my manager a couple of weeks ago and then workmates found out(thats another thread!!) but we are not going to tell anyone else until we,ve had our scan at 12 weeks. With our son we told everyone straight away. Like everyone says go with when you are ready!!!

I am the same. We are waiting to tell everyone including work until 12 weeks. Unless there is a reason that pops up between now and then it will remain a secret. I just want to make sure things are ok before I go ahead and get everyone involved.
