im worried about the cramps and diarrhoea......

Hi ladies,
I only just found out I was pregnant yesterday although I kinda knew it by the symptoms.
Im only about 3+2 and as from last night I have been having tummy cramps and diarrhoea.
I ate dinner last night and about and hour later i had stomach pain for about a minute which resulted in diarrhoea, then I was fine and about 20 mins later it happened again, then I was fine.

The reason I worry is beacause I had a M/C last time I was pregnant at about 4 wks but it didnt come away and so I had to have an evacuation of the uterus and then reason I found out was beacuse I was having tummy pain and diarrhoea almost constantly ans the mid-wife was worried by this so sent me for an early scan which showed baby not growing etc.

Is it normal to have tummy cramps and diarrhoea, im hoping its just my way bodys way of dealing with the pregnancy, i know everyone is different.

Any words of wisom wouldn't go a-miss

Thanks Ladies xxx

Should I be worried that I've had lots of views but only 1 reply?? Does that mean this could mean badness???

hi Kirsty.

I am in similar state today - started spotting and don't want to think the worst as every pregnancy is different, but when you have only that experience its hard not to make the comparison. Try not to worry too much hun, as i have read that diarrohea can also be a form of MS so it could be a positive too. The tummy cramps can definitely be normal, its just a shame as the symptoms of pregnancy are the same as so many things (good and bad).

Not sure of the best advice to give on how to deal with this - as i am struggling a bit myself. Just try PMA and keep yourself occupied

FX'd for you hun x

I had quite a lot of cramping the first few weeks and now that seems to have swapped for constant nausciousness! Cramping is completely normal I'd say but Im afraid I never had the diarrhoea....

Cramping is normal and looking at the Countdown to pregnancy, some women do have diarrhoea as a symptom of pregnancy.

I'm 3wks+3days and worrying myself as i lost my last pregnancy in July at 4wks+5days, so im petrified.
