I had an episode of suddenly producing some thick dark pink/light brown blood that had some strange lumps in it. I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant and quite scared - has anyone else had anything similar?

I've had cramps for a couple of weeks, but also a sharp pain thats been getting a bit worse. Called the EPU and they told me come in first thing tomorrow - don't think my partner or I will get any sleep tonight

Well I know this is easy but try not to worry over night - thats not gonna help your little bean. Go to bed and rest now till the morning. Lots of women bleed early on in their pregnancies and go on to have a healty 9 months.

I have had some bleeding/spotting and I went to my doctor and they did blood work and all of my numbers came back great (HCG) and then they did a scan and saw the sac. ( I am almost 6 weeks) But after the scan (it was vaginal) I started spotting pretty bad. I called my doctor and she told me that as long as there weren't any cramping and the bleeding was not bright red and heavy (to require a pad) then everything should be fine. I have since stopped spotting! Thank God! I go for another scan on Monday. She said that the blood could be old blood or implantation bleeding too.

I had an episode of heavy, light red bleeding a few weeks ago. It was the most scary thing i've ever been through, but I had no pain nor any clots. It turned out it was just a blood sack from implantation that the baby had burst. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Well I went in this mornin and they took some blood. Got to call them at 6 for the results. If its over 1000 I have a scan tomorrow morning and if its under 1000, repeat bloods on friday. Thanks for all the good thoughts, keep you fingers crossed for me
