Just wanted to add that I am the man responsible for dizzle's bean and all your thoughts and good wishes have been really helpful and supportive - it has been so good to read about people experiencing similar things with good outcomes - brought a tear to my eye seeing the sacs on the ultrasound scan - not that I showed it of course...

Ok just realised that she hadn't updated you all! SO the scan showed the gestational sac and yolk sac as you would expect this far along (also confirmed we were right with dates). Not able to see baby yet but we have another scan in 2 weeks where we should be able to see baby and hopefully a heart beat! Am sooooo relieved - this pregnancy thing is a real rollercoaster!
