Hi this is my first post!!!
I was hoping some of you may give me some advice?!!
I am 9/40 pregnant with my first baby, until the last few days i thought everything was going well. 4/7 ago i started to have a dreadful cold and then 1/7 ago had awful diarrhea and vomiting ( i have not suffered any sickness so far)
Today i have had alot of abdo pain but no bleeding, so i took myself to see my Dr. Following examination he has referred me to the early pregnancy unit for a scan hopefully in the morning because he thinks i may either have an ectopic pregnancy or appendicitis ( i have a temp too and right sided pain)
Its all very confusing!!
Has anyone ever had appendicitis during pregnancy?
I guess if that is the problem i will lose the baby because i dont think it would survive surgery this early on?
Any ideas what else it could be?!!!
I would appreciate any comments! Thanks in advance

Not sure hun but if the Dr genuinely thought it was your appendix or even an ectopic, I'd have thought they would be doing tests straight away rather than referring you. When are you due to go to the EPU?

I had appendacitus when I was young - it was very painful. But the surgery is pretty routine - I wouldn't assume you'll lose the pregnancy.
