That's 'nice' of him, to 'think about it', lol. At the end of the day its not down to him. But its promising if he's coming to terms with this pregnancy.

I'm happy for you hun, you sound so much happier.

Fingers crossed by the time your first scan comes around he'll be broody and helping pick out potential names.

Just my opinion, but any "man" who asks me to abort my child is no man I would want to keep. No man comes before the life of my baby. I am sorry you are facing this situation.

So he isnt allowed to not want another baby then? I know my DH certainly didn't when we found out we were expecting elsie and summer was only 7 months old. I certainly dont think its a hanging offence for a bloke to be bloody terrified by an unexpected, unplanned pregnancy and say a lot of things that arent nice to hear.

Anyways emma, I am glad to hear that your OH is starting to come round. I think its very different for men, they dont carry the baby, some just cant accept there is a baby in there till it begins to move around or pops out! Just you stick your ground, because at the endof the day, he cant force you to do anything...but you can force him to have another baby, sad but true. I am not entirely sure how 'right' that is, but its your babies life and if you dont want to have an abortion then it really is a case of he needs to get onboard or not. Just keep trying to reassure him, find out why he is so worried, is it finance or a general how will we cope and so on and help him find solutions to whats worrying him. Most of all, even though you CAN technically force him into having a nother baby, dont make him feel thats what you are doing, try to make him feel important and valued. Best of luck. xxx
